How far in advance can i book your services?
Bookings are taken up to 12 months in advance. My availability is always very limited, so as soon as you know your event/wedding date, i suggest you book in.
How do i book my Wedding in with you?
You can click HERE and fill in the form which will be sent directly to me and then we can start the process. Alternatively, you can email me direct on hello@kathrynmarrone.com.au with the Date of your Wedding, How many people require my services, Time you need to be ready by and location of where you will be getting ready and I’ll get back to you within 24-48hrs.
Are trial appointments compulsory?
No, they are not however I highly suggest booking one in. It ‘s a great opportunity to meet each other before your special day and to ensure you are happy with the final look that you are wanting for your Wedding day.
Can I bring someone along with me to my trial booking?
Yes, you can bring one additional guest along with you as space is quite limited and doesn’t allow for larger groups. Please advise prior to your appointment if this is something you are planning on doing.
How do i best prepare for my trial appointment?
A few key tips are as follows:
SKIN PREP: I highly recommend you prepare your skin the best you can by having regular facials and using good skincare. Avoid getting any new or abrasive facials (ie peels, microdermabrasion etc) at least 4-6 weeks prior to your Wedding day.
INSPIRATION: Please have a few photos ready to show me the look you’re after for your Wedding day. Please choose photos that have similar hair and facial features to you. It’s important you choose your Artist who can reflect the look you’re after.
TANNING: If you are planning on having a spray tan on the day of your Wedding, then i highly recommend you get one for your trial. Please ask the person who is doing your tan to avoid the face area as this can affect the outcome of the Makeup. Also, make sure you have your tan done 2 days prior to allow it to settle on the skin.
CLOTHING - Please wear a top or shirt that is close to the colour of your Wedding dress/outfit so you will get an idea of how things will look on the day.
How long does it take to hear back from you once i enquire?
Once you complete the contact form, then you should receive a response within 24-48 hours (sometimes longer if you email over the weekend).
Where is your studio located?
My studio is located at my private home residence in Park Orchards, Vic
Should i get a lash lift or lash extensions before my booking?
I strongly recommend you DON’T get a lash lift or lash extensions applied before your Wedding or event booking. The reason being that if you are wanting false lashes applied with your Makeup then it’s almost impossible to do this with a lash lift due to the angle that your natural lashes sit at once lifted.
Also, lash extensions can look a little muddy/grey and not crisp when you have had Makeup applied to them so they don’t always show up nicely in photos.
Can I secure my Wedding without a booking fee?
No, all Wedding dates need to be secured with a non-refundable booking fee. I don’t hold any dates for brides without a booking fee. Most brides will pay their booking fee to secure the date to avoid missing out and then will organise their trial at least 3-6 months before their Wedding date.
